How to remove pet hairs

Pet hairs seem to stick to everything. However much we love our pets, pet hairs, well, it’s another story. To remove cat hairs, simply put on a wet rubber dishwashing glove and wipe your hand over surfaces with hairs. The hairs will stick right to it for easy removal.

How to remove red wine stains

If not caught on time, a red wine stain can be difficult to remove. If you drop some wine on your carpet, use a dab of foaming shaving cream and rub on the red wine spill to remove red it from your carpet.

To remove stubborn price stickers from items like dishes and glassware, use a cotton pad or q-tips soaked with rubbing alcohol. The alcohol will dissolve the sticky glue making it easy to remove the sticker.

How to remove wax spills

To remove hardened wax from fabric, place a paper towel or brown paper bag on top of the wax and  press with an iron on low heat. The paper will absorb the wax and your iron will stay clean.

Make a paste of baking soda and water to clean discolored teacups and teapots. It’s gently enough for most fine china and it is easy on the hands and the wallet.
